Tasting Notes
Blenheim Orange was first discovered in Woodstock, Oxfordshire around 1740, taking its name from the nearby Blenheim Palace. Meanwhile, on the other side of the Cotswolds in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, a Dr Ashmead had recently ‘raised’ his Ashmead’s Kernel variety.
We have brought these neighbours together, to create this ‘sweet-plump-pear-purée’ of a press, with a touch of sharpness.
